For three weeks every year beginning on Memorial Day weekend, Charleston South Carolina hosts the Spoleto Festival USA, one of Americas’s major performing arts festivals and its companion Piccolo Spoleto Festival run by the city of Charleston. The two festivals attract large audiences transforming Charleston into an exuberant celebration of art.
