Art Fair on the Square
Art Fair on the Square got its start in 1958, offering the Madison community over six decades of access to great art and talented artists from around the country. Art Fair on the Square is not only amongst largest art fairs in the Midwest, it has been rated as one of the top fine art shows by artists from across the country. Furthermore, Art Fair on the Square is the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art's most important annual fundraiser, providing crucial support for exhibitions, art education, and programming. For two days, the eight blocks that surround Wisconsin's beautiful State Capitol are transformed as artists, entertainers, vendors, and typically 200,000 visitors come together to celebrate the arts at this event.
