RiverArtsFest

Celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2026, RiverArtsFest is the largest and longest running fine arts festival in the Mid-South. The show features a juried Artist Market with more than 150 artists from over 35 states. Patrons from Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi converge on downtown Memphis to enjoy original art, river views, live music, food, a hands-on art creative station and artist demonstrations.

Local artists can apply to the emerging artist program, and a commemorative poster artist is selected each year. Over $50,000 is spent on marketing and public relations to promote the event. More than $12,000 in cash awards are presented.

RiverArtsFest is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. Artist amenities include 24/7 private security, drive-up load-in and loadout, close free artist parking, volunteer booth sitters, an on-call meteorologist and renowned artist hospitality.

Proceeds from the festival support RiverArtsFest’s year-round art education initiatives, providing free programming for students of all ages and abilities, art educators, and the public while providing paid opportunities for local artists.
