COMPILED FROM FASTAUDIT REVIEWS

The Mountain Heritage Arts & Crafts Festival ranked CC60 in 2024’s 200 Best list. Eighty-nine percent of the artists who reviewed the last four shows said they would exhibit again.

“Always a good show. Coffee and doughnuts for the vendors,” said a photographer who would do the show again. “You can pull up to your building for load-in and -out. Probably 12 buildings. Good assortment of food trucks. Very pleasant people attend.” The artist reported $4,300 in sales and thought the festival could be juried a little better.

An artist whose mediums are sculpture and wood made $1,424 and would participate again because, “It’s a friendly and fun show.”

The weather could have been better and load-in/-out “was a pain due to two-way traffic on a not wide enough route, but the people are great,” said an artist whose mediums are painting and fiber/textile/leather. The artist’s sales totaled $850, and the artist would do the show again because it is a local one.

The festival is also close to home for another exhibitor who had $3,000 in sales and would do the show again for that reason and because it is an excellent location.

A jewelry artist who made $680 will not return due to poor sales.

But wanting to be invited back is an artist whose mediums are ceramics and wood. “Promoter treats us well,” said this artist who reported $9,000 in sales.
