Art Fair on the Square - WI
About the Show
Madison, Wisconsin - Mid-July
Madison's annual event is one of the largest and most-prestigious art shows in the state of Wisconsin every year. It's a complicated and difficult show at which to exhibit, for its size alone, and no show is an automatic, but with the huge crowds including some high-end buyers, most artists find it worthwhile and our historical analysis shows a high-rate of returning artists.
Organizers (Madison Museum of Contemporary Art) say this on their website about the 2020 event:
"One of the Midwest's most popular and highly regarded outdoor art celebrations will return to the Capitol Square July 11 and 12, 2020 as MMoCA presents the 62nd annual Art Fair on the Square. With its mix of music, outdoor dining, and nearly 500 artists exhibiting paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture, jewelry, handmade clothing and accessories, and fine craft, the fair draws nearly 200,000 visitors to Madison."
