The most recent Sunshine Artist Audit Book has been reduced in price to just $39. It is an informational source for working artists and craftspeople, and includes information about show-circuit trends, legal services and tax offices, as well as copyright and trademark forms.
The primary goal of the book is to make planning and scheduling art and craft shows easier for our readers. To supplement the monthly reviews in each issue of the magazine, we publish this compilation every two years to provide a quick overview, historical trends and contact information for the thousands of shows in the United States and Canada we have received information on over the past five years. The current book lists results of shows held from 2002 to 2006. The next book will be out in spring 2009.
Each event is reviewed based on reports filed by Sunshine Artist reporters and other show exhibitors. The listings contain a brief summary and yearly ratings on a scale of 1 to 9. Here's an example from the 2005 edition:
